• Joffre White author visit

  We've had an excellent day with Joffre White - Author and a UK Patron of Reading. Starting the day with a 'reading motivator workshop, we heard all about Joffre's journey to being a published author and what we can do to love reading more. Fox Class were treated to a writing session with Joffre where they engaged their imaginations and unlocked their writing potential. Some children were also lucky to meet for a question and answer session. It was also fantastic to see so many children queuing to meet Joffre after school to purchase a signed copy of his books.

  

• Year 1/2 Cross Country

  This afternoon, Mr Squibb took some of our Otter Class children to Sherborne Preparatory School for a cross country event. Having been thoroughly warmed up by some Year 8 leaders, they participated in a 'relay' cross country race with each child running 500 metres before passing the baton to the next runner. Our Year 2s managed a very respectable 5th place and our Year 1 children came 2nd!

  Thank you so much to Sherborne Preparatory School for organising such an amazing event (and for the amazing cookies and hot chocolates afterwards!).
