• Basketball tournament

  This afternoon, some of our Y6 children participated in the cluster basketball tournament. They played with huge smiles on their faces and faced some very strong opposition. We think we ended up in fourth place but were just very proud about how well we picked up the game and developed throughout the afternoon!

  

• Girls' Davison Cup Football

  Well done to our girls' football team who played in the North Dorset Davison Cup. In a very close game against Sherborne Primary, we ended up losing 2-1 but it was an incredibly close game with the final 7 or 8 minutes being played at a breakneck speed! We were also pleased to score our first goal this season and look forward to our next game against Bishops Caundle in a few weeks time!

  

• Dogs Trust Visit

  We were delighted to be joined by Vicky from Dogs Trust on Friday who taught us all about how to approach dogs and how to be safe around them. The whole school took part in an assembly before the classes completed workshops based around different themes. Ask your child about who they need to ask permission from and how before patting an unknown dog to see how much they can remember!
