The school day at Trent begins at 08:30 and ends at 15:00. In the mornings, we open the door at 08:20 for children to make their way to their classrooms. The door shuts at 08:30, when learning begins. 

We ask that you let us know by 08:40 if your child is going to be absent. We do operate a 'first call' system; if your child is absent without explanation, you will be contacted by our admin team to establish the reason for absence and to ensure that your child is safe and with you.

At the end of the day, parents wait in the playground and children are accompanied outside by their teacher, and are released once the known adult collecting them is seen.  If normal arrangements are changed for any reason, e.g. someone else is collecting your child,  then please make sure we are aware of this. We operate a password system for added security.  Any children who are not collected on time will be brought back in to the office to wait under supervision until 15:15. If a child has not been collected by 15:15 they are  then registered into our After School Care and parents are billed for that provision.

Registration: This takes place at 08:30 and again at 13:00 when pupils come in from lunch break. 

Morning Play : 10:00 -10:15

Lunch Break:  12:00 -13:00

There is also an afternoon break for children in Reception and KS1. 

Collective Worship : Collective Worship takes place daily.

Monday: led by the headteacher or Rev'd David with the children

Tuesday: Class Worship, led by class teachers and children

Wednesday: iSing Pop worship

Thursday: Worship through song

Friday: Celebration Assembly
