This week's Headteacher Awards go to...

Jacob, Isabelle, Löva, Blake, Sienna, Flik, Henry and William

So many fantastic pieces of work have been shared with your teachers, and some with me and I am in awe of all the brilliant home learning that is going on. Thank you so much for all your hard work. We've now completed an entire half-term (and a bit) in lockdown. Everyone has been amazing, and that includes all the parents and staff too! I hope you all have a wonderful half-term holiday, and I am looking forward to seeing some of you next half-term if schools open up again. Take care and stay safe!

Oscar earns a Blue Peter Badge!

At the very start of lockdown, I was doing lots of drawings and decided to send one into Blue Peter. All the details can be found here https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/findoutmore/blue-peter-apply-for-a-blue-badge. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of my drawing to show you but the people at Blue Peter were obviously pleased with it!  It has taken about 8 weeks for my badge to arrive but I am already looking at what I can do next to earn another one!

Badger Class Home Learning of the Week

At home with Mrs Green...

Like lots of you we have been enjoying the sunshine and kept ourselves busy by making, baking and playing lots of games.  Both my children are really enjoying Lego at the moment, so my carpet is covered in bricks and pieces all the time! We had a lovely Easter and have been keeping in touch with our friends and family by using FaceTime, writing letters and cards.  The weather has been so lovely, we've spent plenty of time in the garden and out on bike rides and walks.  I am missing Hedgehog Class lots and lots and it has been lovely to see what lots of you have been up to.

Few pictures of the amazing work from Otter Class.

Well it certainly looks like Mr Leeming has been busy and by the sounds of it I may have some competition during the next fun run!! I have been keeping busy with plenty of cooking, outdoor artwork and plenty of bike rides. We even managed to cycle upto Ham Hill.

I have also been amzaed at the variety and quality of the activities the children have done during these challenging times. Keep up the great work and keep sending it in.

Mr Bacon

These are strange times and our normal routines have been completely blown to bits.  I've loved seeing some of the wonderful things that the children have been getting up to over the initial 2 weeks and over Easter.  Hopefully, as the school blog builds we will be able to get more images up online so you can all see what some of your friends are doing at home.

I too have had to get creative with my time! Not being able to go to the gym has led me to creating all sorts of new home exercises, I've even started running so watch out Mr Bacon!  Also I've been making the most of being able to spend time as a family, getting out for daily exercise and learning outdoors and even setting up my own primary school for home learning!

Don't forget to email in any learning or photos to your class teachers so we can add them to the blog.

Thank you

Mr Leeming
