Year 4 had an exciting trip to Dorchester's Tutankhamun Exhibition. We learned all about who Tutankhamun was and then discovered his antechamber and burial chamber just like Howard Carter, Lord Carnarvon and Lady Evelyn did in 1922! We learned about some of the treasures that were buried with Tutankhamun, including a golden statue of Anubis, a golden cow and golden throne - clearly Tutankhamun liked his gold!
The children were excellent role models and represented our school beautifully. They were very curious about Tutankhamun's death and the fact he was only 19 when he died - the question is, how did he die?! Many theories were discussed.
Year 4 Science - We researched the digestive system and created an experiment to observe how poo is made inside of us!
