A very warm welcome to Trent Young's CE School.

Here at Trent, our vision, 'to let your light shine' means that our priority is for each child to flourish: to believe in themselves, to understand the impact that they can have on each other, and to be happy and healthy. We believe that is it vital that each child understands how special, unique, and valued they are and is able to make a positive contribution to our school and the wider community. Our curriculum is designed to provide all children with the best possible opportunities to experience success, and to become curious individuals who care for each other and our world. 

We look upon education as the lighting of a fire and our aim is to equip our children with the skills to succeed in life in the 21st century, both on an academic and a personal level. Children achieve when they are inspired and motivated, and we support this philosophy by providing a wide and balanced range of activities within a caring and secure learning environment. 

We believe that in order for a child to achieve they need to have the confidence and security to try new things and to be open to many possibilities. A strong partnership between the school, parents, children, the church and the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust supports pupils at Trent to develop a positive attitude to learning.
