Thank you for your interest in our school. We hope that you will find our website both interesting and informative, as well as giving a taste for what is important to us at our school.
Here at Trent, our vision, 'to let your light shine' means that our priority is for each child to flourish: to believe in themselves, to understand the impact that they can have on each other, and to be happy and healthy. We believe that is it vital that each child understands how special, unique, and valued they are and is able to make a positive contribution to our school and the wider community. Our curriculum is designed to provide all children with the best possible opportunities to experience success, and to become curious individuals who care for each other and our world.

What’s up next?
We had a fantastic morning on our whole-school autumn walk around the fields of Trent. The children were taught more about the impact of the dry weather on farming, how farmers are recovering from this and were also spotting the signs of autumn! We had a fantastic morning at Gore Farm for our harvest festival. We heard about what harvest is, what it looks like in the UK and how it changes when we look internationally, particularly in our ever-changing world. We were lucky to be joined by Mat Callaghan from Lord's Larder Yeovil to tell us about their work and the difference our contributions will make. Thank you so much to the Casely family for hosting us at the farm - it was a very special venue and must have been so much work to put together! #LetYourLightShine
We can't wait for our school fete tomorrow afternoon from 3-5pm! The weather is looking great so do come along for an afternoon of fun, games and food. #LetYourLightShine

Don't forget that it's the Queen Thorne Garden Show on Saturday! There is artwork that has been produced by children from across the school displayed there and, there are still prizes up for grabs for the largest geraniums that the children brought home earlier in the year (these can be dropped off between 8am and 10am at Trent Memorial Hall for judging). It would be great to see the school represented brilliantly as we know lots of the geraniums were looking fantastic! #LetYourLightShine
