Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We've had a very busy week as the spring term drew to a close. On Tuesday, all children participated in Experience Easter where they were able to think deeply about the Easter story.
Today, we loved seeing all of the brilliant Easter bonnets and the children enjoyed the Easter raffle and egg hunt. This afternoon, the school community gathered at St Andrew's for our Easter service. It was lovely to see so many children taking part in the service and the singing was wonderful!
Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported the school community this week - from chocolate donations for our Easter egg hunt and raffle, to donating cakes and providing flowers for today's service. A particularly huge thank you to the amazing Friends of Trent School for all they do in allowing our children have the very best experiences they can!
We were delighted that some of our Y4 children wanted to raise money for the people of Turkey and Syria so organised a 'beat the keeper' football fundraiser. We were lucky to be joined by Mr Weale to provide us with some challenge and we all loved taking penalties against him (and seeing Mr Weale get very muddy!!). Well done to the boys who raised over £130 and thank you so much to Mr Weale for joining us for the afternoon.
We've had an incredible World Book Day as we celebrated our reading for pleasure culture. Children enjoyed sharing their favourite books alongside lots of other book-related activities. Thank you to everyone who helped with the AMAZING costumes!
