Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Thank you to everyone who visited our Christmas Fair on Friday 25th Nov. We certainly got in the festive spirit with choirs, letters to Santa, gingerbread decorating and a whole host of games led by our amazing Yr 5/6 children. We were also delighted to see so many members of our local community running stalls too. We even had an appearance from the man in red himself!
As always, thank you so much to the AMAZING Friends of Trent School who have worked tirelessly over many weeks to put the event together. Early calculations suggest that we raised over £800!
Well done to our girls' football team who won their first ever match together 1-0. This means they progress to the next round of the Davison Cup in the new year. It was great to see how quickly the girls worked together and all supported each other brilliantly!
We gathered together at 11am this morning at St. Andrew's Church for our armistice day service. Our Yr 5/6 children led us through the story of how the poppy came to be our symbol of remembrance and all of the children observed the silence impeccably. Some of our service children also laid a wreath below the war memorial.
Well done to our Yr 5/6 football and netball teams in their fixtures this evening.
The footballers picked up their first win of the season as they beat a strong Yetminster side 5-1. The team have gelled together excellently after only two games and could have easily scored double figures!
Our netballers were also in action in their first ever game together as a team. Whilst the result did not go their way, it was great to see the team working together and playing with big smiles on their faces.
We've got fixtures and sporting events coming thick and fast over the next few weeks so we'll keep you updated with how we get on.
