Hedgehog Class

Hedgehog Class is a mixed Reception and Year 1 class, full of enthusiastic learners who are always curious, creative and ready to let their lights shine! Our class teacher is Mrs Green and our Learning Assistants are Miss Partridge and Miss Jones, who support the children with their learning and development each day.

Our Reception children learn through play and exploration, building the foundations of early reading, writing and maths, while also developing independence and social skills. Our Year 1 children are beginning to use these foundations to tackle more formal learning, gaining confidence in reading, writing and maths as well as exploring exciting topics across the wider curriculum.

Each half-term, a class newsletter is shared on our page, which gives an overview of what we will be learning. We also share regular updates here and on Tapestry, so you can see the wide range of activities and achievements happening in Hedgehog Class.
